Welcome to The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium website!

On behalf of the Duke Armed Forces Association, we would like to invite you to get to know The Fuqua School of Business! As second-year students, and as fellow members of the Armed Forces, we remember being where you are now and we understand that you have questions, considerations, and experiences that are vastly different from those of non-military applicants. We also know that as a member of the military, you have the potential to impact our student body in immeasurable ways, and we couldn’t be more pleased that you are considering earning your MBA at Duke.

The Fuqua School of Business boasts a student body rich in diversity – both in experience and in background – and military members and veterans play an important role in expanding that pool. Our leadership and management skills are both recognized and highly valued at Fuqua and we think you will find that the team-oriented, case-method style of learning complements our skill sets and how we operate in the military.

The Fuqua School of Business actively seeks qualified students from the ranks of the military to enrich our learning community. Fuqua is a proud supporter and active participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, and Military MBA named the Fuqua School of Business one of the top five Best Value MBA Schools for Veterans Using the New GI Bill.

As Fuqua students, veterans become part of an incredible community here at Duke. The school provides countless academic, professional, and personal growth opportunities, such as the Global Academic Travel Experience (GATE), industry sector career clubs, and the Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics (COLE). We encourage you to join us for The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium.

We look forward to meeting you!
