Choosing to pursue an MBA is big decision, and it is crucial that you have the ability to shape and direct your own MBA experience. At The Duke MBA, our veteran students are doing just that, and they are also helping to shape the experience of all of our students. Our veteran students can be found in leadership positions throughout Fuqua, serving as student representatives on the Board of Visitors, as student club officers, Admissions Fellows and Admissions Ambassadors, as Fellows in the Center for Leadership and Ethics (COLE), and in many other ways as well.
This two day event, held on the Friday and Saturday of the Columbus Day weekend, is designed to provide prospective veteran students with an opportunity to explore The Duke MBA experience. Our dedicated Admissions team works hand-in-hand with the school’s Armed Forces Association (DAFA) to plan a meaningful and informative event at Fuqua.
Take some time to review this website to get a feel for the kind of community you will find at Duke, and to find out what you can expect at the Symposium. You can read about our current veteran students, review the agenda, review past alumni participants, submit your questionnaire to attend, and learn about activities available to family members who may accompany you on your visit to Durham. I encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you may have as well.
I hope that you will be able to join us for the Symposium. If you are unable to make it for this event, use our online scheduling tool to schedule a campus visit that is convenient for you.
Come and learn about The Business of Leadership at Duke. We look forward to getting to know you!
