Will my selection to participate in The Duke Veteran’s Symposium be an indication of how competitive I will be in the admissions process?

Can I have my admissions interview conducted during The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium?

Admissions interviews will not be conducted during The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium. The Admissions Team has carefully curated each session to meet you where you are in the application process. After you apply and attend the weekend, you will be guaranteed an interview in the round for which you apply. You may return to campus for your interview or have a virtual interview conducted. Both interview formats are weighted equally. The Admissions Committee does not give preference to any particular interview format.

If I have already submitted my admissions application, is there a benefit of me attending?

While some of the information presented during The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium will pertain to the admissions process, the programming will also cover other areas of the business school experience. Will I have an opportunity to interact with the entire Duke community and not just the veteran community during The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium?

Yes. Our agenda for The Duke MBA Veterans Symposium will include activities that will give you exposure to the greater Fuqua community.
